In a live chat with Rutherford Atayobo, the chief operating officer (COO) of SinVerse, a blockchain-based metaverse game with an R-Rated Mafia theme, we discussed the state of the metaverse and gaming. SinVerse is a metaverse game in web3 that offers an immersive and interactive gaming experience.
During our conversation, Rutherford shared his insights and experiences on the development and success of SinVerse, including the challenges and opportunities that come with building a metaverse game on the blockchain.
I am Efe Rutherford Atayobo, co-founder and COO of SinVerse, an R-Rated Mafia Metaverse on web3. As an entrepreneur, innovator, and blockchain ecosystem developer, I have been actively involved in the web3 ecosystem since 2015. Since then, I founded Manilla Finance, Vanilla Network, and Cabbie, three scalable web3 projects.
Question 1: As the COO of SinVerse, tell us about your journey into web3, especially in gaming?
As the COO of SinVerse, my journey into web3 began in 2015 when I started exploring blockchain development with my West African technology hub. After launching Vanilla Network, we launched SinVerse, an R-R Mafia Metaverse, at the Gitex technology conference in Dubai. Since then, I have also founded Manilla Finance and Cabbie, two scalable web3 projects.
Question 2: How much potential does the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) have regarding building the necessary infrastructure for web3 gaming?
The BSC has great potential as an infrastructure for web3 gaming due to its high-speed and low-cost transactions, which are crucial for gaming and commerce. Additionally, BSC has a large and active community, which can support and promote the adoption of the SinVerse platform. By building on BSC, we can offer a competitive edge to our platform and provide a high-quality user experience.
Question 3: What is the story line of SinVerse, and how does it tie into the gaming ecosystem?
SinVerse is a decentralized, immersive, and user-friendly metaverse where users can interact with each other and digital content in exciting new ways. Our story line revolves around the Mafia-themed metaverse. Here, players can take on different roles and build their empires while interacting with others. We plan to introduce more features and story lines to keep the experience fresh and engaging for our users.
Question 4: What are the projections for SinVerse in the next five years?
As the COO of SinVerse, we can become a leading player in the metaverse over the next five years. We plan to continue developing and expanding our platform, attracting an active user base, and generating revenue from gaming and commerce. We are already in partnership with other projects like KuCoin and Caasha to build their businesses in our metaverse. We hope to see more institutional players joining us in the future. We aim to create a virtual world where users can conduct crypto-based transactions in KuCoin HQ or make cross-border fund transfers using Caasha inside our metaverse. We also expect our investors to earn a return from their investment since the project would be in the autopilot stage with development completed and token valuation achieved.
